The beautiful Eiffel Tower in Paris, France at one time was an example of the wrought iron building on one of the largest scales. The Eiffel Tower is one of Paris’s landmarks that are the most notable construction in the world. 0ver six million people visit this tower each year. The Eiffel Tower was built by Alexandre-Gustave Eiffel, a French civil engineer. It was built for the World’s fair or the Paris Exposition Universelle in the late 1800s. It became the celebrated bicentennial of the French Revolution. The Eiffel Tower stood at the height of 1,024 feet. During the 1800s, the Eiffel Tower is the largest building in the world. During the 1900s, the Chrysler Building in New York was on its way to becoming the largest building in the world. Now, the building has an antenna, which the tower now measures 1,063 feet. Still, the Eiffel is one of the largest buildings ever built.

At the lower section of the Eiffel, you will see arched legs that set on the masonry piers. The legs around this area arc inward and remain in this position until it unites with a single narrow tower. In this region is 3-chief raised area. You can stand on a deck to view the city of Paris. One of the decks is 187 feet tall and the highest is 906 feet tall. Visitors can take the elevator to the deck. In the area are restaurants where you have panoramic views on the first and second deck.
